Jude Bellingham scored for the fifth successive La Liga match as Real Madrid rebounded from a midweek loss to defeat Girona.
Bellingham, along with Arda Guler and Kylian Mbappe, netted as Los Blancos triumphed 3-0 at Estadi Municipal de Montilivi on Saturday.
The 21-year-old England midfielder is the first Real player to score in five consecutive league games since Karim Benzema in 2021.
Prior to this impressive streak, Bellingham had yet to score this season.

Real’s number five initiated the scoring in the 36th minute before assisting Guler for the team’s second goal shortly after halftime.
Bellingham, however, was substituted off for Dani Ceballos after sustaining a minor injury.
Kylian Mbappe then scored his ninth goal of the La Liga season, finding the net after receiving a pass from Luka Modric.
This victory comes just days after Madrid suffered a 2-1 defeat against Athletic Club, putting Carlo Ancelotti’s team just two points shy of league leaders Barcelona, who have a game in hand.
Barcelona, Real’s Catalan rivals, were held to a 2-2 draw against Real Betis earlier on Saturday. Robert Lewandowski scored his 23rd goal in 21 matches this season, but it wasn’t enough to prevent Barcelona from dropping points for the fourth time in five La Liga outings.

Lewandowski opened the scoring in the 39th minute at the Benito Villamarin Stadium, but Giovani Lo Celso equalized with a penalty in the 68th minute after Frenkie de Jong was sent off for fouling former Barca teammate Vitor Roque.
Ferran Torres managed to restore the lead for Barcelona, but Betis equalized in injury time with a goal from Assane Diao, concluding the match at 2-2.
Real Madrid’s next challenge is a trip to Atalanta for a Champions League match on Tuesday, while Barcelona will face Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
