Crystal Palace will continue to “keep fighting” in their quest for a first Premier League victory of the season following a 1-0 loss to Nottingham Forest, according to Marc Guehi.
Chris Wood’s goal ensured that Forest remained winless after eight matches, placing them in the relegation zone.
This defeat marks the first time in top-flight history that four teams have not secured a win in their opening eight games.
Palace made 20 attempts at goal during the match at the City Ground, with Eberechi Eze striking the crossbar with an impressive long-range effort. However, Dean Henderson’s inability to stop Wood’s shot proved to be pivotal.

Guehi commented: “I can’t fault anyone really. Everyone put effort into that game. At the moment nothing’s going for us. We have to go back, keep working and stick together.
“We’re creating chances but any slight mistake gets punished at the moment.
“When the world’s against you you have to keep fighting. We’re all at fault. It’s not one person for that goal.
“Life’s hard and you have to deal with it. You have to keep fighting to get better. It’s important that we stick together.
“You have to keep going, and we’ll keep going for sure.”
Palace’s next match is against Tottenham on Sunday, after which they will visit Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup.
