    Temwa Chawinga And Barbra Banda Gets Selected For NWSL Best And Second XI

    The Best XI and Second XI for the 2024 season of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) were unveiled today. The winners were selected through a weighted voting process: 40% came from NWSL players, 25% from head coaches, general managers, and owners, another 25% from the media, and 10% from fans.

    First-time honorees in the Best XI include Temwa Chawinga, Barbra Banda, Croix Bethune, and Ann-Katrin Berger, all of whom are experiencing their inaugural seasons in the NWSL. Defender Emily Sams, now in her second season, also marks her debut in a Best XI selection.

    Defenders: Emily Sams, Orlando Pride
